This Privacy Policy describes how Infisutra Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our mobile application, DateMe ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a safe and secure environment for all users.
To provide and improve the DateMe App, we collect various types of information, including:
- Information You Provide Directly:
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your **Email address, Name, Date of Birth (DOB), and Place of Birth (POB)**. This information is essential for creating your profile and generating astrological insights.
- Profile Information: You may choose to provide additional details such as gender, photos, interests, hobbies, lifestyle details, and "Interested In" preferences (e.g., Marriage, Relationship, Friends, Open to Anything).
- Communications: When you communicate with us (e.g., customer support) or with other users through the App's chat features, we collect the content of those communications.
- Payment Information: If you purchase a premium **subscription (e.g., Blaze, Gold, Premium tiers)** or other in-app features, we collect necessary payment details (processed securely via third-party payment processors; we do not directly store your full payment card details).
- Information Collected Automatically:
- Usage Data: We collect information about your activity on the App, such as features you use, interactions with other users, time spent, and referral data.
- Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access the App, including IP address, device ID, operating system, browser type, and mobile network information.
- Location Information: With your consent, we may collect precise location data to help you find matches nearby. You can disable this in your device settings.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Improve the App:
- To create and manage your account and profile.
- To facilitate matching services, including **using your Name, DOB, and POB to generate astrological insights and compatibility scores** to find you the best potential matches.
- To enable communication between users through our encrypted chat system.
- To process your premium subscriptions and in-app purchases.
- To understand user behavior and preferences to improve app features, performance, and user experience. This includes using aggregated, anonymized data for **model learning and algorithm enhancement**.
- Safety and Security:
- To verify accounts and combat spam, fraud, and unauthorized activities.
- To ensure a safe, secure, and respectful environment for all users, by monitoring for misuse and enforcing our Terms and Conditions.
- To respond to user support requests and address issues.
- Communication:
- To send you important updates, notifications, and promotional messages (where you have consented).
- Legal Compliance:
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With Other Users: Information you include in your profile (e.g., name, photos, interests, astrological insights) will be visible to other users of the App to facilitate matching and connection.
- With Service Providers: We use third-party vendors and service providers to assist us in providing the App's services, such as hosting, data analysis, payment processing, customer support, and **astrology calculation services (who receive your Name, DOB, POB for chart generation)**. These providers are obligated to protect your information.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or if we believe it's necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.
We implement robust security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes:
- Encrypted Chat: All messages exchanged between users on DateMe are encrypted to ensure privacy and security.
- Premium Auto-Delete: For Premium users, messages can be set to auto-delete after a specified period, offering an enhanced layer of privacy.
- Secure servers, firewalls, and access controls.
While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
DateMe employs a fair and comprehensive process to handle reported profiles and ensure the safety of our community:
- For Non-Subscription Users: If a non-subscription user is reported by a significant number of other users, our system will directly block their account. The account is then moved to a manual monitoring queue, where our moderation team reviews the reasons provided by the reporting users.
- For Subscription-Based Users: If a subscription-based user is reported by multiple users, their profile is immediately flagged for manual review. However, their account will **not be blocked immediately**. Instead, a warning will be displayed on their User Dashboard indicating that their profile is under review due to multiple reports.
- Manual Review Process: During manual review, our team meticulously examines the reasons selected by the reporters. We categorize reported reasons as "critical," "warning," or "red-flag" based on their severity.
- Communication with Reported Users: In some cases, especially for critical reports or when more information is needed, we may send an email to the reported user seeking clarification or a response regarding the allegations.
- Action Against False Reports: We are committed to a fair process. If, during our manual review, we find that a report was made maliciously or falsely, we will investigate the reporters. If a user is found to have repeatedly made false reports, we will take appropriate actions, which may include blocking their account.
- System Actions Based on Report Severity: Our system takes actions proportionate to the severity of the reported reasons. For "red-flag" or critical reports (e.g., CSAE, severe harassment), immediate and permanent blocking may occur regardless of subscription status. For "warning" level reports, actions may include temporary suspension, feature restrictions, or mandatory re-verification.
- Profile Information: You can review and update most of your profile information directly within the App settings.
- Location Data: You can enable or disable location services for the App at any time through your device settings.
- Communications: You can opt-out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages.
- Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed from the App, and we will delete or anonymize your personal data as required by applicable law. For detailed instructions, please see our Delete Account Policy.

The DateMe App is intended for users who are at least **15 years of age** or older. This age limit is set to ensure a safe and appropriate environment for all users, particularly given the "Friends" and "Open to anything" options and the general nature of an interaction-based platform.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 15. If we become aware that an individual under 15 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information and terminate the account.
